Women’s DI International signees of note
International additions can prove to be decisive in the women’s Division I game, sometimes providing the added edge that can help a team climb into title contention.
National Signing Day offered the first glimpse of which players are heading to college soccer programs this fall, with several players from countries around the world sealing college decisions. Youth internationals from outside North American sides are always compelling, given their background and relative unknown inside typical recruiting circles.
Below are eight names announced on or after Signing Day to note this season. To qualify, players have to come from outside North America and have youth national team experience for their respective countries. Expect to see more international additions as the march towards the 2018 season continues.
