Capable of playing as a center back or defensive midfielder for the Cardinal, Davidson is a significant reason why the Pac-12 power is one of the favorites to defend their national title in 2018. She may miss time for World Cup qualifying, of course.
Davidson isn't the only player likely to feature for her national team this year. No. 2 ranked UCLA standout Jessie Fleming is sure to factor in for Canada in World Cup qualifying.
