Many had Notre Dame penned in for a College Cup trip, but the Irish did not make it past the second round thanks to Jadin Bonham, who scored a shocking game-winner for Ohio State with just seconds remaining in double overtime. The sophomore would then assist the opener in the following round as the Buckeyes defeated Baylor 2-1 to reach the Elite Eight, adding to a remarkable postseason surge.
