Several players that have recently come through the YSC Academy and YSC Advantage (virtual school option) have already emerged as regular contributors in the college game.

With the NCAA tournament all that’s left, here’s a look at some of the 2022 and 2023 alumni that made a big impact in the 2023 college season.

Ryan Lau, Boston University – In his second season at the Patriot League program, Lau played more than 1,000 minutes as a freshman. He was also named to the 2022 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and has played in 17 games this fall. BU made the NCAA tournament after winning the Patriot League tournament.

Sam Fenton, Dartmouth – A second-year defender started in 12 games this fall, playing almost one thousand minutes for the Ivy League side.

Owen Moore, Liberty – The goalkeeper earned the starting role this fall as a sophomore, making 12 appearances between the posts for the Flames.

Jack Jasinski, Princeton – Jasinski was named Second Team All-Ivy League this fall, his second year with the Tigers. He played more than 1,200 minutes, assisting on three goals for Princeton.

Ian Abbey, Rutgers – After making the All-Big Ten Freshman team in 2022, Abbey was solid in his sophomore season. He scored three goals and had two assists in 16 appearances for the Scarlet Knights.

Anthony Ramirez, High Point – Returning home to play at High Point, Ramirez made 16 appearances, scoring two goals, helping HPU win the Big South Conference Tournament. He was named to the Big South All-Freshman Team.

Luciano Sanchez, Rutgers – A regular contributor from the bench in the Big Ten, Sanchez scored two goals and had an assist in 16 games.

Noe Uwimana, Virginia Tech – The defender was a bright spot in his debut season at Virginia Tech, earning All-Freshman honors from the ACC. He made 15 appearances, playing 1,143 minutes for the Hokies.

Luke Martelli, Villanova – Playing close to home at Villanova, Martelli played in all 16 games, making four starts for the Wildcats this fall.

Devon Stopek, Rutgers – Another YSC alum at Rutgers, Stopek played in 12 matches for the Big Ten squad.

Brendan Lambe, Virginia – Lambe carved out a regular role off the bench at the ACC powerhouse, helping them earn a spot in the NCAA tournament.

Ty Wilson, Georgia Southern – Wilson played almost 1,000 minutes in an extremely competitive Sun Belt conference.

Cristiano Bruletti, Michigan State – In his first season with the Spartans, Bruletti logged just above 1,200 minutes, making 15 appearances for the Big Ten side.
