Trinity A group of former college players got together to give Trinity Episcopal (Va.) a Senior Day game that it was otherwise going to miss.

Soccer is not a stat-driven sport, but that doesn't mean it is devoid of numbers. Each Friday for the rest of the high school season, TopDrawerSoccer high school editor Sheldon Shealer will provide a glance at some of the recent numerical milestones. If you have a performance or milestone worth noting, email us at MILESTONES.

1 -- Number of goals FAB 50 Spring No. 1 Notre Dame de Sion (Kansas City, Mo.) has allowed this season as the squad prepares for next week's district tournament. The Storm are 17-0 with 16 shutouts.

3 -- Number of state titles Don Rother was involved with during his tenure as a Norman North (Norman, Okla.) soccer coach. Rother is the Director of Coaching for Oklahoma Celtic, but he has been the face of Norman North for the better part of 20 years. Rother coached his final match with the Norman North girls program this past week as the team lost to Broken Arrow in the state semifinals. He had coached the girls program since 2011 and guided the team to the program's only state title in 2014. Rother spent 11 years with the Norman North boys program, first as an assistant and later as the head coach from 2007-2009, before taking over the girls team. Rother was on staff for Norman North's 2003 and 2003 boys state titles. He first attend Norman High School, where the team won a state title in 1997, but was part of the first class to open Norman North the following year as he earned all-state honors. Since the opening of the school, the only years he was not associated with a program was the four years he spent in college.

11 -- The number of former college players rounded up to play an exhibition match with Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, Va.) in order to give the girls team a Senior Day opponent. Trinity's originally scheduled Senior Day opponent backed out of the contest. A Home School team agreed to fill the void, but then also bailed due to lack of numbers. With time running out and an unwillingness to let the five seniors go without a Senior Day game, Anna Prillaman, the associate director of athletics, reached out to the community, and the response was an effort that was recapped by the Richmond Times-Dispatch

14 -- McCallie School (Chattanooga, Tenn.) Ben Brock has scored at least one goal in 14 of the team's 15 matches this season as this nationally ranked program put together a 13-1-1 regular season.

17 -- The number of wins Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, S.C.) generated more than last year's team. Led by high-scoring Wesley Ayen, Gray Collegiate posted a 23-4 record this year under Kevin Heise, one of the state's all-timne winningest coaches who took on the program this year. Last year, Gray won six matches. Heise won 454 games as head coach of Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, S.C.) before taking over Gray Collegiate this season. At 477 career coaching wins, Heise is within striking range of No. 500 next season.
