The final state championships for the fall 2019 season where contested Saturday, and at the same time the winter season was gering up in three states.

This is the traditional transition week as we release the final state and region rankings for the fall of 2019 and the first of the weekly state and region rankings for winter of 2019-2020.

To close out the fall high school season, Longmeadow (Mass.) boys secured a regional No. 1 ranking with a state title over the weekend while Rockwood Summit (Mo.) moved to the top of its region with a state title and an upset loss by season-long No. 1 Lee's Summit (Mo.). In girls soccer, Bishop Feehan (Mass.) capped its season with a state and regional title in the Northeast, while Puyallup (Wash.) moved to the top of the state rankings with a 4A state crown.

In winter soccer, there was only one change among the region No. 1s as Arizona, California, Hawaii and Texas -- which make up five of the eight regions -- have yet to play.

See the latest list of state and regionally ranked teams, which features more than 300 of the nation's top fall-playing teams and 150 winter teams.
