HS: Spring FAB 50 rankings, June 4
The boys rankings remained almost completely unchanged. The girls rankings ... well, that's another story.
Naperville North (Ill.) and Liberty (Mo.) jump into the Top 25 after surprising state title victories last week.
Those two teams and their results created a ripple effect that shook up the girls FAB 50.
Now, on with the rest of the rankings ...
BIG MOVERS: BOYS: None. No previously ranked teams moved up this week. ... GIRLS: Kellam (Virginia Beach, Va.). Kellam did not make the biggest jump of the week, but the most significant as it went from No. 9 to No. 3. The team carries a perfect reord into this week's state tournament, which features three FAB 50 Top 10-ranked teams. If Yorktown, Kellam or T.C. Williams -- a combined 54-0-1 -- emerge as the champ it also will be in the running for FAB 50 No. 1.
NEWCOMERS: BOYS: No. 50 C.D. Hylton (Woodbridge, Va.). ... GIRLS: No. 12 Naperville North (Naperville, ill.), No. 19 Liberty (Mo.).
