HS: State, region rankings, March 28
A winter SIMA FAB 50 Top 5 girls team made an early playoff exit and the spring SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 boys team took a loss last week, highlighting the major moves in this week's rankings.
WINTER NEWS
District 6-6A flexed its muscle as all four of its teams advanced in the Texas girls playoffs, which included a win by Flower Mound (Texas) over former SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, Texas). That result, along with a win by Plano Senior (Texas) over Keller (Texas), helped shuffle a few teams in this week's Texas state and region rankings.
On the boys side, it was largely status quo as No. 1 Wakeland (Frisco, Texas) and Coppell (Texas) advanced in early postseson play.

SPRING NEWS
Norman North (Norman, Okla.) heads to Tennessee this week for the Smoky Mountain Cup, but will do so without the SIMA FAB 50 spring boys No. 1 ranking. Norman North lost last week, banishing the team from the top spot in the state and region rankings, which ultimately means the SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 spot, as well, when that is released Tuesday.
