HS: Winter state, region rankings, Dec. 17
Montgomery (Santa Rosa, Calif.) boys and Perry (Gilbert, Ariz.) move into No. 1 regional positions this week, highlighting changes at the top of the rankings.
Montgomery regains the top spot in the California-North boys region, while Perry takes over at No. 1 in the West girls.
The No. 1s in the 14 other regions remain the same this week.
San Luis Obispo (Calif.) boys and Villa Park (Calif.) girls are the big movers following strong tournament showings over the weekend. San Luis Obispo checks in at No. 3 in the California-South region and California state rankings. Villa Park leaps to No.2 in the California-South regional rankings and No. 4 in the state.
