Another week has passed in the world of high school fall boys soccer, and the NSCAA has marked out a new regional map for the country's top teams. New Bedford (Region I) and Marquette University (Region VI) both moved into the top spots in their respective regions this week to pair with solid showings in the national rankings.

Here's a shakedown on how the rest of the nation came out in this week's NSCAA boys polls.

Region I

For the first time this year, Ludlow isn't Region I's top dog. Ludlow's precipitous drop out of the national poll followed them to the New England region, where New Bedford rockets from No. 4 to No. 1 thanks to its sterling 8-0-1 record.

1. New Bedford (New Bedford, Mass.)

2. Glastonbury (Glastonbury, Conn.)

3. Greenwich (Greenwich, Conn.)

4. LaSalle Academy (Providence, R.I.)

5. Hanover (Hanover, N.H.)

6. Westborough (Westborough, Mass.)

7. St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, Vt.)

8. Suffield (Suffield, Conn.)

9. Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, Vt.)

10. Scarborough (Scarborough, Maine)

11. Concord (Concord, N.H.)

12. North Kingstown (North Kingstown, R.I.)

Region II

Smithtown West's drop from No. 3 to No. 7 was the only real movement at the top in a region that has upheld its core structure all year. Arlington was unmoved at the top, as were Martin Luther King Jr. and St. Anthony's, which have formed the core of arguably the most top-heavy high school fall region in the country this season.

1. Arlington (LaGrangeville, N.Y.)

2. Martin Luther King, Jr. (New York, N.Y.)

3. St. Anthony's (Melville, N.Y.)

Region III

The status quo reigns supreme in the high places for New Jersey and Pennsylvania boys soccer. The top five are again unchanged this week, with No. 6 Washington Township making the biggest move from No. 12 last week behind its 10-0-0 mark. Lampeter Strasburg is in its second week in the poll this week at No. 12 with a 14-0-1 record. No surprise that as St. Benedict's nears the national consecutive wins record, the Gray Bees are comfortably the region's - and nation's - top-ranked team.

1. St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, N.J.)

2. Upper St. Clair (Pittsburgh, Pa.)

3. Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, Pa.)

4. Father Judge (Philadelphia, Pa.)

13. Watchung Hills (Warren, N.J.)

14. St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.)

15. Pleasant Valley (Broadheadsville, Pa.)

Region IV

After Wesleyan lost its regional crown last week, Salesianum sits at the top of Region IV for a second consecutive week. Norfolk and Providence Day swapped places at four and five, respectively, while Wesleyan stayed pat at No. 6 this week. All eyes are on the High Point, N.C. program to see if a regional comeback (and perhaps a national one as well) is in the cards.

10. Oak Hill (Oak Hill, Va.)

11. Marriotts Ridge (Marriotsville, Md.)

12. Parkersburg (Parkersburg, W.Va.)

Region V

Mason takes the top spot in Region V for a third straight week, avoiding upsets with aplomb en route to a 13-0-0 record through last weekend. Indiana's Crown Point jumped from No. 12 to No. 7, while Revere moved up into the No. 4 spot thanks to a 14-0-1 record so far. Louisville's St. Xavier is plodding along after having its massive 50-plus game winning streak snapped earlier this year with a 10-5-4 record and sits at No. 14.

1. Mason (Mason, Ohio)

2. Columbus North (Columbus, Ind.)

3. Avon (Avon, Ind.)

14. St. Xavier (Louisville, Ky.)

15. Bay Village (Bay, Ohio)

Region VI

A new king reigns in this region after East Lansing fell in a local cup final to lose its second game of the year. While East Lansing dropped from the poll, Marquette University and its 13-0-2 record was all too happily to gobble up the top spot in the rankings to regain the regional power scepter. It's anyone's guess as to how long East Lansing will stay out of the regional poll, but it probably won't be for long.

1. Marquette University High (Milwaukee, Wis.)

2. Troy Athens (Troy, Mich.)

3. Canton (Plymouth, Mich.)

4. Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, Minn.)

5. Kettle Moraine (Wales, Wis.)

13. Edina (Edina, Minn.)

14. Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, Wis.)

Region VII

It was another big week for Hinsdale Central, which stays atop the region with a 13-0-2 record. But it was an equally rough continuation for Topeka's Washburn Rural, which fell again this week. Just two weeks after residing atop the poll, Rural fell from No. 2 to No. 15 this week thanks to another loss to bring its record to 7-2-1. St Charles East and its 14-0-4 mark is your new Region VII No. 2, which has not been a lucky number for this region's teams this year.

1. Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, Ill.)

2. St. Charles East (St. Charles, Ill.)

14. St. John Vianney (St. Louis, Mo.)

15. Washburn Rural (Topeka, Kan.)

Region VIII

Rock Canyon's drop from No. 4 to No. 13 is the biggest dip in a western region still ruled with an iron fist by the Pacific Coast's two Jesuit pillars. Both Jesuits are now a combined 21-1-4 this season, and the California program is on pace for a 25th consecutive league title this year. Rangeview makes its debut in the poll at No. 5 this week with an 11-0-0 record in tow.
