SIMA FAB 50 HS Rankings Update: Nov. 11
The end of two lengthy undefeated streaks also mark the beginning of new No. 1 teams for the SIMA FAB 50 Fall boys and girls rankings.
St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, N.J.) boys and McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) girls rise to the top of the rankings this week.
St. Benedict's Prep, the preseason No. 1 team, caught a break and returned to the top after former top-ranked McDonogh School was upended by FAB 50-ranked Loyola (Towson, Md.) in the conference championship Sunday night, ending the Eagles' 42-match undefeated streak.
On the girls side, it was the very same McDonogh School that benefited when Northern Highlands (Allendale, N.J.) saw its undefeated run end at 88 matches, and with it its stay at No. 1.
