The Prep Top 10 is comprised of schools in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council and the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, as well as other independent prep schools. Schools in these rankings are not eligible for the FAB 50 high school rankings because these programs either field post-grad players or compete in a league with or against teams with post-grad and/or fifth-year athletes.

Hotchkiss was held to a 1-1 draw in a match with No. 3 Choate last week, marking the first time this year the team had been held to less than three goals.

Pingree had wins over Berwick Academy and Concord Academy last week to stay undefeated.

Choate defeated Kingswood-Oxofrd 3-1 in the midweek match before playing to a 1-1 tie with top-ranked Hotchkiss on the weekend.

Nobles defeated Groton 2-0 and Middlesex 6-0 to extend its win streak to four matches.

St. Mark's won its two outings last week, beating Milton Academy 3-0 and Governor's Academy 4-2.

Thayer defeated Rivers School and Lawrence Academy to hold its Prep Top 10 ranking.

Cat Barry scored four goals in Tabor's 5-2 win over St. George's last week. Barry also scored in the team's 2-2 tie with BB&N.

 Pomfret School Pomfret, CT 8-1-2
Duun O'Hara scored both goals as Pomfret defeated Williston Northampton 2-0 in the team's only outing last week.
9 Miss Porter's School Farmington, CT 11-1-2
Natalie Godoy and Carlyn Kosienski scored the goals as Miss Porter's defeated Sacred Heart 2-0 last week. In a midweek match before that, Miss Porter's and Loomis played to a scoreless draw.
10 Suffield Academy Suffield, CT 8-2-2
Suffield Academy posted its most significant result in years, knocking off Loomis Chaffee 2-0 last week. Lexi Mnich and Natalie Catonguay scored the goals. Suffield Academy showed signs of a breakthrough season in 2016, posting its first winning record in years. This year's team now makes the school's Prep Top 10 debut.
