NOTES: Anderson Asiedu scored the lone goal as St. Benedict's Prep defeated Peddie School 1-0 to claim its 26th straight state title. Asiedu, one of the nation's top prospects -- rated No. 37 in the IMG 150 for the Class of 2015, is one of likely six NCAA Division I signees on this year's St. Benedict's squad. John Antunues and Zach Pereira have committed to Monmouth, Wilber Nunez has committed to Seton Hall. Asiedu has offers from North Carolina, UCLA, Saint Louis and Monmouth, among others. The Gray Bees defeated teams from eight states this year and outscored the opposition 77-8. |

NOTES: David Louthan and James Sims converted penalty kicks in the second half as Air Academy capped a perfect season with a 2-0 win over The Classical Academy in the state final. Both penalty kicks were drawn by the team's leading scorer, Austin Dewing, who was named MVP for the title match. Air Academy outscored its opponents 102-5 playing in the middle of the state's three classification brackets. Air Academy's key regular-season win was a 2-1 decision over Pine Creek, which reached the Class 5A state quarterfinals. Dewing ended the season with 34 goals and 22 assists. |

Senior keeper Mikal Outcalt, a Pitt commit who named to first-team Division I all-state and selected for the High School All-American Game, made a crucial save if the first half to keep the match scoreless. St. Ignatius split its matches with Copley and pinned the only defeats on FAB 50-ranked Olentangy Liberty this season. |

Loyola lost both regular-season meetings to McDonogh, but the second one happened while Penn commit Gavin Barger missed the match while training with the US Under-18 National Team. Barger also missed the team's early season loss to Haverford School (Pa.). Loyola's lineup featured three players from the Baltimore Celtic Under-16 club team that won the US Youth Soccer national title over the summer. Senior Riley Collins has committed to UMBC. Junior midfielder Grant Robinson is a top prospect for 2016. |

NOTES: Will McGowen delivered the match-winning goal with eight minutes left as Hinsdale Central defeated Normal Community 1-0 in the state final. Hinsdale Central started the season in the SIMA FAB 50 Top 10, but a rough start bounced it from the rankings for most of the season. However, the postseason run justified a leap back into the Top 25 as Hinsdale knocked off previous Top 10 Morton and undefeated Normal Community on its way to the program's second state title, the other coming in 1975. Hinsdale Central keeper Wes Bergevin has been selected for the High School All-American Game. Senior defender Evan Floersch was named to the all-state squad. Bergevin, senior Jack Baderman and junior Bryan Loebig were named to the all-section team. |
