The fall season includes the following states: California (fall), Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (private), West Virginia, Wisconsin. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Copley handled Barberton 6-0 in the team's opening round playoff match in the team's only outing. Usually the first round or two in the Ohio playoffs are walk-over games for the top seeds. In fact, last week, all seven boys teams and 15 girls teams in the TopDrawerSoccer state rankings won their matches.

Victor Villagomez scored twice as St. Benedict's defeated St. Peter's Prep 3-0 last week. The Gray Bees also defeated Walt Whitman (Md.) 3-0.

MLK moved within a win of a perfect regular season after finishing the week with a 12-0 victory over Millennium.

Diego Buesrosto scored twice and had one assist in the team's 8-1 win over Elk Grove, which followed a 4-1 victory over Franklin with goals from four players.

Edgar Garcia scored twice as Morton closed out the regular season with a 5-0 win over Riverside-Brookfield. The result caps a 9-0 home record for Morton in the regular season, and all nine wins were by shutout with keeper Ian Chacon in net.

Air Academy USAF Academy, CO 15-0-0
Mark Beatty netted the lone goal as Air Academy squeezed by Cheyenne Mountain 1-0 last week to clinch its conference title.

Beavercreek Beavercreek, OH 16-0-1
Tristan Lyle scored twice as Beavercreek defeated Miamisburg 3-1 in its playoff opener last week. Beavercreek and Copley are on course to face each other if they keep winning in the postseason.

Upper St. Clair Pittsburgh, PA 16-0-1
Joe Bell delivered the decisive goal as Upper St. Clair defeated Pittsburgh Central Catholic 2-1 to cap an undefeated regular season. The result also marked the end of Pittsburgh Central Catholic's perfect season as the team fell to 17-1.

Billy Biehl and Owen Hallas netted the goals as Chesterton defeated Munster 2-1 last week, landing the program its first regional title since 2007.

NJIT commit Sam Jester had a goal and one assist as Appoquinimink defeated perennial state power Salesianum 2-0 last week.

Peter Meyer had a goal and one assist last week as Massapequa remained undefeated with a 1-0 win over Farmingdale and a 1-1 draw with Hempstead.

A much-anticipated match with Greensboro Day School did not take place recently, leaving Fayetteville Academy without a true marquee win this season, which is becoming quite common among the state's higher-ranked teams. None-the-less, Fayetteville Academy closed out a perfect regular season last week.

Ever Torres' 70th career goal also marked his seventh game-winner of the season as it jumpstarted Brentwood's 2-0 win over Commack. The league rivals split their two contests so far this season.

Commack's perfect run ended with a 2-0 loss to Brentwood, a team it defeated earlier in the season. If there is a third match, much will be at stake since it will be a winner-moves-on/loser-out playoff contest.

Alex Andersen scored three first-half goals as Unionville defeated West Chester East 3-0. Unionville then closed out the undefeated regular season with two more wins in which Tim Yarosh scored a goal in each outing.

Christian Brothers netted 13 goals during a pair of outings last week. Christian Brothers' lone loss is to Jesuit, and it pinned the only defeated on Granite Bay. And as long as these three California fall powers continue to win, they will move up in the FAB 50.

Brandon Miyashiro scored the lone goal as Granite Bay capped a two-win week with a 1-0 decision over Roseville.
