NOTES: Montverde Academy's bid for a ninth straight undefeated season came up short due to one December defeat, ending its national record undefeated run at 185 matches. The Eagles, however, defeated FAB 50-ranked Tampa Jesuit along with three other district champions and two district runners-up. The team featured goalkeeper Weston King (Louisville), Bernardo Gracindo (Northeastern), Bryan Moreira (Indianapolis), Bruno De Nez, Ricardo Paiva, Pedro Melo, Xavier Laneuville, Frederico Tramonina and Ricardo Rego.

San Clemente starts postseason play against Century in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 tournament this week. The Tritons have a challenging group, which includes Paramount, Santa Ana, Corona del Mar, Servite and Millikan. Only one of the teams can advance to the section semifinals.

Montgomery is three wins away from a perfect run through league play. Considering the Vikings scored five goals against each of the remaining teams in the first time through the league, it would be a surprise if Montgomery wasn't undefeated after Saturday's final match.

Marcus received goals from three players in a 3-0 win over Hebron, which happened three days before Hebron knocked off then FAB 50 No. 1-ranked Flower Mound.
