NOTES: Coastal Carolina signee Henry Bowland scored the first goal and provided an assist as LEE capped the season with a 2-0 victory over Rockwall-Heath in the Texas 6A state final. Bowland, who was named the game's MVP, assisted Giovani Garcia in the second half. Keeper Joey Batrouni, also a Coastal Carolina signee, recorded the shutout. LEE was 17-0-1 and ranked No. 2 last year when the COVID pandemic shut down the Texas season. LEE, which was the TopDrawerSoccer winter preseason No. 1 team, is 71-4-2 over the past three seasons. Coach David Rogers is now the only coach to guide three different teams to Texas state titles -- Boerne in 1999, Boerne Champion in 2011, and now LEE. |

NOTES: Brophy Prep claimed a third straight state title with a shootout victory over previously undefeated San Luis in the state final. Regulation ended 1-1. Charlie Cobb, an NCAA Division I prospect, ended the season with 20 goals and 21 assists. His 20th goal of the season pulled Brophy even with San Luis to set up overtime and the eventual winning shootout.

NOTES: Arnold was probably the biggest ranking surprise of the year, posting an undefeated season and bring home the first boys soccer state title for the county. Although playing in a mid-sized school classification, Arnold proved its quality with three regular-season wins over Niceville by a combined 11-2 margin. Niceville was the 6A runner-up to FAB 50 No. 8 Doral Academy in a 2-1 match. Arnold outscored its opponents 126-14 this past season. Senior Zack Bischoff has committed to Brevard. Senior Tristan Gandy, a defensive midfielder, was named the Bay County Player of the Year. |

The victory made Pam McDonald, a former Scottish National Team player, the first female to coach a boys soccer team to a state title in Florida history. She previously had guided Doral to a runner-up finish in 2017. |

NOTES: Led by University of Tampa commit and Florida Mr. Soccer Marcello Valbuena, Tampa Catholic captured the 3A title with a 4-2 win over Westminster Christian. Westminster struck first, but Valbuena countered only 15 seconds later to even the score. Seven minutes after that, he put Tampa Catholic ahead for good as the team eventually built a 4-1 lead. Early in the season, Tampa Catholic lost to local rival and power Tampa Jesuit, but a month later Tampa Catholic routed Gulf Coast, which won the 7A crown over Plant, which had beat 5A champ Belen Jesuit, which edged Tampa Jesuit in the state final. |
