FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Lexi Kendro provided the team's offensive highlight with a hat trick in a 7-1 win over Hempfield. Norwin also defeated Kiski Area 5-0 last week.

Florida State commit Kristina Lynch scored both goals as Penn capped a three-win week with a 2-0 victory over nationally ranked Noblesville.

Notre Dame commit Molly Feighan scored three goals last week as Arlington defeated Monroe-Woodbury 2-0 and Carmel 6-0. Feighan and Michaela Fasolino scored the goals in the win over Monroe-Woodbury.

Whitman-Hanson Whitman, MA 6-0-0
UMass commit Lauren Bonavita scored three goals, all assisted by Manhattan commit Eve Montgomery, as Whitman-Hanson kicked off a three-win week with a 4-0 victory over Plymouth South. Bonavita added three more goals in the team's 5-0 win over Plymouth North. Whitman-Hanson capped the week with a 2-1 victory over Marshfield. Bonavita has 12 goals already this season.

Medina Medina, OH 9-0-1
Tarah Roller had two goals and an assist as Medina handled Euclid 10-0. This week, Medina clashes with Strongsville.

Portland Jesuit Portland, OR 7-0-0
California commit Emma Treasure and Callan Harrington scored in Jesuit’s 2-0 win over rival Sunset. Harrington then scored twice with a goal each from Treasure and Brooke Bordonaro with a 4-0 victory over former Top 25-ranked Camas (Wash.). Mary Votava and Olivia Juarez combined for the two shutouts behind a defense led by California commit Sydney Collins that has yet to concede a goal this season.

Claudia Mischler and Katie Murray scored the goals as Northern Highlands edged rival Ramapo last week.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 9-0-1
Walsh Jesuit had no problem in wins over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin 6-1 and Olentangy Orange 4-0 last week.

Houston's offensive juggernaut continues to roll. The Mustangs have been held to under three goals only three times this season. Last week, the team netted 13 goals in three victories.

Brebeuf had six different goal scorers in a 6-0 victory over Westfield in the team's only match last week.

Daniella Roni scored twice in Skyline's 4-0 win over Eastlake last week.

Caroline Sullivan delivered a 40-yard free kick goal to lift Central Catholic into a 2-2 draw with Strongsville (Ohio) last week. Central Catholic bookended the Strongsville result with comfortable wins over Andover and Dracut.

Strongsville traveled to Massachusetts last week and came away with ties against Central Catholic (Mass.) and Hingham (Mass.).

Caitlin Kennedy scored twice in both of Sacred Heart's outings last week, wins over Our Lady of Mercy and St. John the Baptist. This week, Sacred Heart clashes with No. 17 St. Anthony's.

Tennessee commit Abbey Burdette netted the lone goal as Urbana defeated former SIMA FAB 50-ranked Good Counsel.

Jada Colbert scored four goals and Jasmine Colbert added three last week as Freehold won a pair of matches.

Jenn Bionifazio scored a dramatic late game-winning goal as St. Anthony's edged Holy Trinity 2-1. Earlier in the week, Brianna Passaro had a goal and one assist in the team's 2-1 win over Kellenberg.

Dayton commit Megan Wampler scored the lone goal as Guerin Catholic edged Indianapolis Cathedral 1-0. Senior keeper Claire Gavin has 10 shutouts this season.

Katie Soderstrom and Brooke Bailey staked Carmel to a 2-0 lead en route to a 2-1 win over nationally ranked Noblesville last week. The Greyhounds followed that result by needing a Ashley Witucki goal in the second half to salvage a 1-1 draw with Zionsville.

Glastonbury's state-record win streak ended in a scoreless tie with Tolland, but the undefeated streak lives on with that result and a 1-0 win over Southington last week.

Jamie Shepherd scored a goal in both of American Fork's outings last week, wins over Lone Peak and Westlake.

McDonogh (five times) or Spalding (four times) have combined to win the last nine IAAM titles. These perennial powers appear headed for that situation again this year, and the first meeting between them ended in a scoreless draw.
