FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi (independent schools) Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Jesuit posted a 9-0 victory over Beaverton last week, marking the team's eight shutout in nine matches. Washington commit Callan Harrington had five goals and one assist and Minnesota commit Katie Duong added a goal and four assists in the victory.
2 (2) Northern Highlands Allendale, NJ 8-0-0
Tennessee commit Claudia Dipasupil and Elizabeth Peebles each had a goal and one assist as Northern Highlands shut out Wayne Hills 3-0 last week. Northern Highlands clashes with FAB 50 No. 13 Ramapo this week.

St. Anthony's Melville, NY 9-0-0
Brianna Passaro had six goals and Virginia commit Brianna Jablonowski added two goals and three assists as St. Anthony's won four matches last week. The run of victories included shutout wins over regionally ranked and league rival Sacred Heart, as well as perennial group title challenger Ridge (N.J.).

McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 6-0-1
Baylee DeSmit, who was injured in the team's season opener in Indiana, returned to the lineup and scored three goals in the Eagles' 6-0 win over Gerstell Academy. DeSmit has five goals in two matches this season.

Puyallup Puyallup, WA 8-0-0
Puyallup defeated Olympia and Graham Kapowsin last week to set up this week's clash with fellow undefeated Bellarmine Prep. The winner will have the inside track in the SPSL 4A race, although Sumner is lurking in the background.

Rutgers commit Riley Tiernan had four goals and three assists, La Salle commit Kelli McGroarty added three goals and one assist and St. Joseph's commit Sara Brocious chipped in with three assists as Eastern won three matches last week.

Medina allowed an own goal in a 2-2 draw with Strongsville last week.

Strongsville Strongsville, OH 10-0-3
Strongsville stayed undefeated with a 2-2 draw with Medina last week. The two could see each other again in the playoffs.
9 (9) Houston Germantown, TN 14-1-0
Houston routed Southwind and White Station last week by a combined 15-0 margin.
10 (10) Allentown Allentown, NJ 7-0-0
Abby Howell had eight saves as Allentown shut out Robbinsville 2-0 last week to stay perfect. Allentown is scheduled to clash with FAB 50 No. 11 Bridgewater-Raritan on Friday.
11 (11) Bridgewater-Raritan Bridgewater, NJ 10-0-0
Gianna Minerva scored the lone goal in the second half as Bridgewater-Raritan survived a 1-0 win over Somerville last week.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 10-1-0
Walsh Jesuit cruised past St. Joseph Academy 6-0 last week. The Warriors face always-tough Lake Catholic this week.
13 Ramapo Franklin Lakes, NJ 7-0-0
A loaded Ramapo lineup will get a crack at FAB 50 No. 2 Northern Highlands this week. Last week, Villanova commit Mary Clare Langan scored four goals and had two assists, North Carolina commit Emerson Elgin added two goals and two assists and Duke commit Nicole Chico had to goals and one assist as Ramapo posted a pair of lopsided wins.

Archbishop Spalding Severn, MD 7-0-1
Coach Ashly Kennedy said this could be the best Spalding squad in a number of years, and the Cavaliers certainly delivered last week. Spalding upended St. John's (D.C.) 4-1 to vault to No. 1 in the Washington Post Top 10 and into the FAB 50 Top 25. Fifi Iluyomade scored the first two goals and Jenna Snead and Jessica Zimmerman scored the others. Spalding is a few weeks away from a league clash with FAB 50 No. 4 McDonogh.

Beavercreek has 10 shutouts this season and has allowed only three goals. Meanwhile, the offense has been generating staggering numbers -- 70 goals in 12 matches.

Spencerport needed to rally, but prevailed over Greece Athena in overtime to win the Spencerport Sports Booster Club Girls Soccer Tournament title.

After routing Bishop Ready, Watterson was held to a scoreless draw by Gahanna Lincoln.

Pickerington North defeated Lancaster and tied New Albany last week.

Hamilton Southeastern Fishers, IN 12-1-2
Hamilton Southeastern and FAB 50 No. 25 Noblesville played to a 1-1 draw last week, but the result gave the Royals the HCC Conference title. HSE and Noblesville play again this week in the opening round of the section playoffs, which will mean the end of the season for one of these two top teams.

Sacred Heart defeated Lakota East (Ohio) last week, making the team 3-0 against out-of-state opponents for the season, including a win over FAB 50 No. 25 Noblesville (Ind.)

Ravenwood carries an undefeated record into this week's opening round of postseason play.

Vanderbilt commit Ashtyn Fink has a team-high 22 goals this season as Gorman is off to a 12-0 start. Iowa commit Gianna Gourley has added 17 goals.

It's a shame Bishop Kelly is not in the large school bracket in Idaho, because they are simply rolling over Class 4A competition. The Knights won three matches by a combined 20-1 margin last week. so far this year Bishop Kelly has scored 99 goals while allowing seven. Only one match has been closer than three goals.

Carmel is 11-0-1 in its last 12 outings, the lone blemish was a tie with Noblesville. The Greyhounds open postseason play this week with Brebeuf Jesuit.

Noblesville tied FAB 50 No. 19 Hamilton Southeastern last week, but needed a win to capture the HCC Conference title.
