FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi (independent schools) Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Minnesota commit Katie Duong had five goals and three assists last week as Jesuit handled Southridge 9-0 and Sunset 6-0. Junior standout Callan Harrington, a Washington commit, had two goals and four assists against Southridge, and freshman Taylor Krueger netted three goals against Sunset.

Virginia commit Brianna Jablonowski scored in the final minute to lift St. Anthony's to a 3-2 victory over league rival Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart is 10-2 this season with both losses at the hands of St. Anthony's. The teams are likely to meet against in the postseason.

Tennessee commit Maria Nelson served up three assists in Medina's 5-0 playoff win over Wooster last week. Nelson's effort gives her a school-record 18 assists this season.

Strongsville Strongsville, OH 14-0-3
Northern Kentucky commit Kayla Wypasek scored both goals as Strongsville opened postseason play with a 2-0 win over Westlake last week.

McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 11-0-2
North Carolina commit Julia Dorsey headed in a corner kick from Tennessee commit Lily McCarthy as McDonogh rallied for a 2-2 draw with FAB 50 No. 6 Archbishop Spalding in a clash of IAAM powers. Olivia Ozbolt netted McDonogh's first goal. The Eagles later added a 2-0 win over FAB 50-ranked Cumberland Valley (Pa.). on Saturday.

Archbishop Spalding Severn, MD 10-0-2
Jenna Snead and Fifi Iluyomade gave Archbishop Spalding a 2-0 lead, but McDonogh rallied to tie the match at 2 in a clash of Maryland state powers. It has been more than a decade since a team other than McDonogh or Spading has won the IAAM A Conference title.

Olivia Denney netted the lone goal as Allentown topped Princeton 1-0 in the Mercer County Tournament semifinals over the weekend.

Tennessee commit Claudia Dipasupil had a goal and one assist as Northern Highlands defeated Demarest 3-0 in the Bergen County Tournament semifinals over the weekend. Earlier in the week, Claudia Mischler had two goals and two assist in the Highlanders' 7-1 victory over Paramus.

Walsh Jesuit handled Stow 9-0 in the team's opening playoff match.

Beavercreek opened postseason play with wins over Springfield and West Carrollton by a combined 19-0 margin.

Allison Lowrey scored a goal in each outing as Bridgewater-Raritan edged Ridge 1-0 and Somerville 2-1.

Bishop Gorman jumps into the No. 12 spot, the highest-ever FAB 50 ranking for Nevada team following a stunning 7-0 thrashing of state No. 2 and former FAB 50-ranked Coronado. Taylor Cox had two goals and two assists.

Spencerport defeated Churchville-Chili 3-0 to start postseason play last week.

Addy Lancaster scored twice as Sacred Heart defeated Assumption 3-0 in the regional final. The win sends the team to the state tournament where it was scheduled to face Simon Kenton on Monday.

Valparaiso commit Kelsie James scored two goals to lead Carmel to a 3-0 victory over Center Grove in a state semifinal match. The Greyhounds will face FAB 50-ranked Homestead in the state final this weekend.

A scoreless draw with unranked Emerald Ridge led to a drop in the rankings for Puyallup, The team also defeated South Kitsap 1-0 last week.

Houston was upset by FAB 50-ranked Collierville 2-1 in the regional final, but recovered to beat Carksville in the sectional match to advance to this week's state tournament. Houston and Collierville could meet for the state final this week. The teams have split their matches so far this season.

Season Complete. Idaho Class 4A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore Mia Cartwright's header in the 75th minute found the net and proved to be the deciding goal as Bishop Kelly held off Sandpoint 2-1. Cartwright's goal gave the team a 2-0 lead, and Sandpoint scoring in the closing two minutes. Evelyn Elwer scored Bishop Kelly's first goal. Bishop Kelly is riding a 64-match win streak and this team achieved the highest-ever FAB 50 ranking by an Idaho program. The senior-dominated team featured key payers Lauren Elwer, a Gonzaga commit, and Tatum Seastrand, a Boise State commit.
