FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi (independent schools) Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

1 (1) Eastern Voorhees, NJ 25-0-0
La Salle commit Kelli McGroarty and Rutgers commit Riley Tiernan each had a goal and one assist as Eastern defeated Toms River North 3-0 in the South Jersey Group 4 final. The win sends Eastern into the state semifinals this week against SIMA FAB 50 No. 28 Hunterdon Central. Earlier in the week, Eastern escaped with a 2-1 overtime win over Shawnee behind a one-goal, one-assist performance from Rutgers commit Sara Brocious.

Portland Jesuit Portland, OR 17-0-1
Portland Jesuit cruised to wins over Sheldon (7-0) and Barlow (4-0) to reach the state semifinals where the Crusaders will meet SIMA FAB 50 No. 20 West Salem. Jesuit and West Salem tied during the regular season, marking the lone blemish on Jesuit's record in three years. Portland Jesuit's undefeated streak stands at 56 matches.

Lakota West West Chester, OH 22-0-2*
Season Complete. Ohio Division I state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,350 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Kailyn Dudukovich scored with 13 seconds remaining to lift Lakota West to a 2-1 state title victory over Anthony Wayne in a clash of undefeated teams. Dudukovich scored both goals for the Firebirds, giving her an even 50 for the season. Dudukovich, a junior and Ohio State commit, was named Miss Soccer for Ohio by the coaches association. Lakota West, despite going 6-6 last year, started this season at No. 27 in the preseason SIMA FAB 50 after getting a host of club players returning to the squad, including Dudukovich and Ohio State commit Sydney Jones.

Noblesville Noblesville, IN 17-0-3*
Season Complete. Indiana Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,900 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore Kiana Siefert scored four minutes into the second half and it was enough to lift Noblesville to its first state title with a 1-0 win over defending champ Carmel. The Millers went start-to-finish as the Indiana No. 1 team in the TopDrawerSoccer rankings. Siefert's goal was assisted by Jenna Chatterton. Noblesville started the season ranked No. 8 in the preseason SIMA FAB 50.

McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 16-1-0*
Season Complete. IAAM A Conference champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,400 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: Loyola (Md.) commit Baylee DeSmit scored twice as McDonogh defeated Archbishop Spalding 3-1 in the MIAA A Conference final. DeSmit scored three goals in last year's title win over Spalding and netted the lone goal in McDonogh's regular-season win over Spalding, as well. McDonogh started the season as the SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 team, but an early league loss to FAB 50-ranked Mercy bumped the Eagles from the top spot. Still, McDonogh will finish among the nation's elite, powered by wins over Top 25-ranked Strongsville (Ohio) and St. Anthony's (N.Y.).

Anthony Wayne Whitehouse, OH 22-1-0*
Season Complete. Ohio Division I state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,375 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Anthony Wayne's perfect season ended with a 2-1, last-second loss to Lakota West in the Ohio Division I final. Hannah Rybicki scored Anthony Wayne's goal, which tied at match at 1 at the time. Anthony Wayne posted two wins over Top 25-ranked Strongsville and also defeated Top 25-ranked Medina and Division II runner-up Madison. Findlay commit Emilie Gardner was named to the coaches All-State first team.

Montclair Montclair, NJ 19-0-2
Juniors Baldwin Gittens and Sydney Masur netted the goals as Montclair defeated West Orange 2-1 in the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 4 final. Chloe Nemes assisted both goals. Montclair moves on to face Scotch Plains in the state semifinals this week.

Carmel Carmel, IN 18-1-3*
Season Complete. Indiana Class 3A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 4,930 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Carmel's bid for back-to-back Indiana titles came up short in a 1-0 loss to Noblesville in a clash of SIMA FAB 50 Top 10-ranked teams. Both squads entered the match undefeated, and they had tied their regular-season meeting. Carmel started the season No. 18 in the preseason SIMA FAB 50.

Archbishop Spalding Severn, MD 14-2-1*
Season Complete. IAAM A Conference runner-up.
School Facts: Private, 1,250 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Archbishop Spalding fell to McDonogh 3-1 in the IAAM A Conference final. Both of the Cavaliers' losses this season were to national power McDonogh. Spalding had two wins over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Mercy and a win over then state-ranked Hopewell Valley (N.J.). The Cavaliers also tied regionally ranked Good Counsel.

Pennridge Perkasie, PA 22-1-1
Lindsey DeHaven scored on Maddie Anderson's free kick to lift Pennridge to a 1-0 victory over North Penn in the state quarterfinals. Pennridge advances to the state semifinals where it will face another District 1 opponent in Conestoga.
11 Massapequa Massapequa, NY 16-2-0
Sophomore standout Gianna Savella score in overtime as Massapequa edged West Islip 1-0 in the Long Island Class AA final. The win puts Massapequa in the state semifinals against Fayetteville-Manlius.
12 Monroe-Woodbury Central Valley, NY 18-1-0
Defending state champ Monroe-Woodbury is back in the Top 25 following a 3-0 win over North Rockland, a team that defeated St. Anthony's. Monroe-Woodbury's only loss this season is to Massapequa. In the clash with North Rockland, Monroe-Woodbury's Alexis DeLeo, Kaelyn Salatto and Josephine Sorce scored goals.

St. Anthony's Melville, NY 16-2-2*
Season Complete. New York Catholic state champion.
School Facts: Private, 2,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Olivia Perez and Emily Riggins scored first-half goals to carry St. Anthony's to a 2-1 victory over Xaverian for the program's third straight state title and fifth in the past six years. In the semifinals, St. Anthony's won a wild 9-5 contest where the team led 5-0 at halftime. Virginia commit Brianna Jablonowski had three goals and four assists.

Season Complete. Ohio Division I regional runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 2,025 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Strongsville's season ended with a 3-2 loss to Anthony Wayne. The Mustangs lost twice to Anthony Wayne and once to McDonogh (Md.) -- teams ranked in the SIMA FAB 50 Top 10. Strongsville also tied St. Anthony's (N.Y.) and won a regular season clash with Medina. Strongsville fell behind by two goals to Anthony Wayne in the regional final and twice closed the gap to one but could not even the score. Madi Snyder and Coley Sidloski scored for Strongsville. Junior Shelby Sallee was named to the Ohio Coaches All-State first team. Memphis commit Peyton Felton was a second-team selection.

Faith Lutheran Las Vegas, NV 21-0-1
Serene Gronauer and Taylor Day scored the goals, both assisted by Amelia McManus, as Faith Lutheran capped a three-win week with a 2-0 decision of regionally ranked Centennial.

Season Complete. Ohio Division I state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 2,220 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Medina's season ended with a 1-0 loss to Anthony Wayne in the state semifinals. The Bees' other losses were to SIMA FAB 50-ranked Strongsville and Brunswick. Medina avenged the Brunswick defeat by winning the playoff rematch. The Bees tied Walsh Jesuit and Massillon Jackson during the regular season, but defeated both in the playoffs. Miami (Ohio) commit Haley Anspach was named to the coaches all-state first team.

Season Complete. Ohio Division 1 regional runner-up.
School Facts: Private, 1,100 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Walsh Jesuit's undefeated season ended with a 1-0 setback to Medina in a clash of Ohio powers. The teams tied during regular season play. Vanderbilt commit Sophia Gorski was named to the Ohio coaches all-state first team, while Cleveland State commit Kathryn Ramicone was a second-team pick.

King Philip Wrentham, MA 20-0-0
Jenny Montville, Jenna Hitchen and Ally Stanton scored the goals as King Philip defeated Oliver Ames 3-1 in the MIAA Division I South quarterfinals. King Philip next faces Needham in the semifinals.

Season Complete. Tennessee Division II-AA state champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,600 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: Arkansas State commit Tara Lea scored on an assist from Mississippi commit Sydney Ham as Briarcrest Christian held off Father Ryan for a 1-0 state title victory. Briarcrest keeper Allison Luckhardt had 13 saves as Briarcrest was outshot 29-9.
20 (20) West Salem Salem, OR 14-0-3
West Salem needed a goal in the final minute to snag a 2-1 victory over Sherwood in the state quarterfinals. The result sends West Salem into a state semifinal clash with SIMA FAB 50 No. 2 Portland Jesuit.

Lakeside School Seattle, WA 16-0-3
Nina Christofilis scored the game-winning goal as Lakeside School defeated Seattle Prep 1-0 to win the Metro Conference title for the second straight season. Lakeside advances to the state tournament where it faces Stadium on Tuesday.

Junior Katie Coyle scored the lone goal as Middletown South edged Cranford 1-0 in the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 final. Middletown South advances to the state semifinal clash with SIMA FAB 50 No. 24 Ramapo.

Drew Hourihan and Lauren Chin scored the goals as Ramapo defeated Wayne Valley 2-0 in the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 final. Ramapo advances to this week's state semifinals and a date with SIMA FAB 50 No. 22 Middletown South.

Middle Tennessee commit Taylor Hamlett scored twice, Pitt commit Ellie Coffield and Caroline Wroblewski added goals as Mars cruised to a 4-0 state quarterfinal win over West Allegheny. Mars advances to the state semifinals to face Archbishop Wood.

Southington Southington, CT 14-0-2
Southington and Northwest Catholic played to a scoreless tie to end regular season play last week. Southington enters the Class LL state tournament as the No. 1 seed.
