The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi (independent schools) Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

1 (1) Portland Jesuit Portland, OR 19-0-1*
Season Complete. Oregon Class 6A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,300 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Portland Jesuit completed a third straight undefeated, state title-winning season with a 3-0 victory over Mountainside in the final. Washington commit Callan Harrington scored two goals, giving her a state record 55 for the season and 133 for her career. She entered the match in a three-way tie with Tiffeny Milbrett (Hillsboro, 1987-90) and Sara Bagby (Catlin Gabel and Jesuit, 1991-94) at 131 career goals and trailed Milbrett's 1990 mark of 54 in a season. Taylor Krueger scored Jesuit's other goal. Notre Dame commit Mary Votava was in goal, and the result gave her 63 solo or shared shutouts in 69 career matches. Jesuit is 57-0-1 over the last three seasons and is now back-to-back SIMA FAB 50 national champions. Jesuit started the year No. 2 in the SIMA FAB 50, dropped to No. 6 after an early tie with West Salem then inched its way back to the top over the past two months.
2 (2) Lakota West West Chester, OH 22-0-2*
Season Complete. Ohio Division I state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,350 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Kailyn Dudukovich scored with 13 seconds remaining to lift Lakota West to a 2-1 state title victory over Anthony Wayne in a clash of undefeated teams. Dudukovich scored both goals for the Firebirds, giving her an even 50 for the season. Dudukovich, a junior and Ohio State commit, was named Miss Soccer for Ohio by the coaches association. Lakota West, despite going 6-6 last year, started this season at No. 27 in the preseason SIMA FAB 50 after getting a host of club players returning to the squad, including Dudukovich and Ohio State commit Sydney Jones.
3 (3) Noblesville Noblesville, IN 17-0-3*
Season Complete. Indiana Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,900 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore Kiana Siefert scored four minutes into the second half and it was enough to lift Noblesville to its first state title with a 1-0 win over defending champ Carmel. The Millers went start-to-finish as the Indiana No. 1 team in the TopDrawerSoccer rankings. Siefert's goal was assisted by Jenna Chatterton. Noblesville started the season ranked No. 8 in the preseason SIMA FAB 50.
4 (4) McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 16-1-0*
Season Complete. IAAM A Conference champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,400 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: Loyola (Md.) commit Baylee DeSmit scored twice as McDonogh defeated Archbishop Spalding 3-1 in the MIAA A Conference final. DeSmit scored three goals in last year's title win over Spalding and netted the lone goal in McDonogh's regular-season win over Spalding, as well. McDonogh started the season as the SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 team, but an early league loss to FAB 50-ranked Mercy bumped the Eagles from the top spot. Still, McDonogh will finish among the nation's elite, powered by wins over Top 25-ranked Strongsville (Ohio) and St. Anthony's (N.Y.).
5 (5) Hunterdon Central Flemington, NJ 21-1-1*
Season Complete. New Jersey Group 4 state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,975 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: After knocking off former SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 Eastern 1-0 in the semifinals, Hunterdon Central completed the state title run with a 4-0 victory over Scotch Plains-Fanwood in the final. South Carolina signee Corinna Zullo scored twice while Navy commit Lilliana Gemma added a goal and one assist and Maddy Brennan scored a goal. Hunterdon Central ended the season on a 16-match win streak in which it allowed only four goals. Lafayette commit Lindsay Dewar starred in goal. Rutgers commit and defender Emily Mason scored the team's lone goal in the state semifinal win over Eastern. Hunterdon Central started ranked No. 16 in the SIMA FAB 50 preseason rankings.
6 (6) Eastern Voorhees, NJ 25-1-0*
Season Complete. New Jersey Group 4 state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 2,025 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Eastern's bid for a perfect season ended in a 1-0 setback to Hunterdon Central in a clash of SIMA FAB 50-ranked programs. Over the past two years, Eastern rolled up a 50-3-1 record. The team was led by La Salle signee Kelli McGroarty, Rutgers signees Sara Brocious and Riley Tiernan. Eastern started the season ranked No. 3 in the SIMA FAB 50.
7 (7) Anthony Wayne Whitehouse, OH 22-1-0*
Season Complete. Ohio Division I state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,375 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Anthony Wayne's perfect season ended with a 2-1, last-second loss to Lakota West in the Ohio Division I final. Hannah Rybicki scored Anthony Wayne's goal, which tied at match at 1 at the time. Anthony Wayne posted two wins over Top 25-ranked Strongsville and also defeated Top 25-ranked Medina and Division II runner-up Madison. Findlay commit Emilie Gardner was named to the coaches All-State first team.
8 (8) Carmel Carmel, IN 18-1-3*
Season Complete. Indiana Class 3A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 4,930 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Carmel's bid for back-to-back Indiana titles came up short in a 1-0 loss to Noblesville in a clash of SIMA FAB 50 Top 10-ranked teams. Both squads entered the match undefeated, and they had tied their regular-season meeting. Carmel started the season No. 18 in the preseason SIMA FAB 50.
9 (9) Monroe-Woodbury Central Valley, NY 20-1-0*
Season Complete. New York Class AA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,325 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Josephine Sorce scored the lone goal as Monroe-Woodbury won a second straight New York state title with a 1-0 decision over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Fayetteville-Manlius. In the semifinals, Monroe--Woodbury defeated Top 25-ranked North Rockland. Monroe-Woodbury started No. 21 in the SIMA FAB 50 preseason rankings in July.
10 (10) Archbishop Spalding Severn, MD 14-2-1*
Season Complete. IAAM A Conference runner-up.
School Facts: Private, 1,250 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Archbishop Spalding fell to McDonogh 3-1 in the IAAM A Conference final. Both of the Cavaliers' losses this season were to national power McDonogh. Spalding had two wins over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Mercy and a win over then state-ranked Hopewell Valley (N.J.). The Cavaliers also tied regionally ranked Good Counsel.

Season Complete. New York Class AA state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 2,515 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: North Rockland's bid for a state title ended with a 3-0 loss to Monroe-Woodbury in the semifinals. The final score didn't reflect the competitiveness of the contest as the match was tied at half and North Rockland ended up outshooting Monroe-Woodbury 13-10. North Rockland's regular season was highlighted by a 1-0 win over eventual New York Catholic champ St. Anthony's.

Season Complete. New York Catholic state champion.
School Facts: Private, 2,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Olivia Perez and Emily Riggins scored first-half goals to carry St. Anthony's to a 2-1 victory over Xaverian for the program's third straight state title and fifth in the past six years. In the semifinals, St. Anthony's won a wild 9-5 contest where the team led 5-0 at halftime. Virginia commit Brianna Jablonowski had three goals and four assists.

Strongsville Strongsville, OH 16-3-2*
Season Complete. Ohio Division I regional runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 2,025 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Strongsville's season ended with a 3-2 loss to Anthony Wayne. The Mustangs lost twice to Anthony Wayne and once to McDonogh (Md.) -- teams ranked in the SIMA FAB 50 Top 10. Strongsville also tied St. Anthony's (N.Y.) and won a regular season clash with Medina. Strongsville fell behind by two goals to Anthony Wayne in the regional final and twice closed the gap to one but could not even the score. Madi Snyder and Coley Sidloski scored for Strongsville. Junior Shelby Sallee was named to the Ohio Coaches All-State first team. Memphis commit Peyton Felton was a second-team selection.

Mars Mars, PA 22-0-1*
Season Complete. Pennsylvania Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,075 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Middle Tennessee commit Taylor Hamlett scored the lone goal in the first half to carry Mars to a 1-0 state title win over perennial 3A title challenger Villa Joseph Marie. The result capped an undefeated season for Mars, the program's second since 2011 -- when that team also defeated Villa Joseph Marie 1-0 in the state final. Mars featured five sets of sisters on a large high school roster. Hamlett and Pittsburgh commit Ellie Coffield, a junior, lead the team this season.

Faith Lutheran Las Vegas, NV 23-0-1*
Season Complete. Nevada Class 4A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,950 students, grades 6-12.
NOTES: For the second straight year, Nevada has an undefeated 4A state champion. After a loaded Bishop Gorman won the 2018 title, Faith Lutheran answered in 2019. Amelia McManus scored the lone goal in Faith Lutheran's 1-0 state final win over Coronado for the program's first 4A crown. Keeper Jordan Brown posted her 18th shutout. Faith Lutheran outscored their opponents 112-3 this season.

Season Complete. Ohio Division I state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 2,220 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Medina's season ended with a 1-0 loss to Anthony Wayne in the state semifinals. The Bees' other losses were to SIMA FAB 50-ranked Strongsville and Brunswick. Medina avenged the Brunswick defeat by winning the playoff rematch. The Bees tied Walsh Jesuit and Massillon Jackson during the regular season, but defeated both in the playoffs. Miami (Ohio) commit Haley Anspach was named to the coaches all-state first team.

Season Complete. Ohio Division 1 regional runner-up.
School Facts: Private, 1,100 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Walsh Jesuit's undefeated season ended with a 1-0 setback to Medina in a clash of Ohio powers. The teams tied during regular season play. Vanderbilt commit Sophia Gorski was named to the Ohio coaches all-state first team, while Cleveland State commit Kathryn Ramicone was a second-team pick.

Season Complete. Tennessee Division II-AA state champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,600 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: Arkansas State commit Tara Lea scored on an assist from Mississippi commit Sydney Ham as Briarcrest Christian held off Father Ryan for a 1-0 state title victory. Briarcrest keeper Allison Luckhardt had 13 saves as Briarcrest was outshot 29-9.

Bishop Feehan Attleboro, MA 23-0-1*
Season Complete. Massachusetts Division 1 state champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,080 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Providence commit Francesca Yanchuk scored in the final minute of regulation as Bishop Feehan edged Westfield 3-2 for the program's first state title. Yanchuk scored the first and third goals for Feehan and assisted on the second goal. Kelly Coady scored on Yanchuk's assist.
20 Glastonbury Glastonbury, CT 18-1-1*
Season Complete. Connecticut Class LL state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,990 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Samantha Forrest scored with 5:29 remaining to lift Glastonbury to a 1-0 win over rival Southington in an all-CCC state final. The win marked Glastonbury's fourth title in the past six seasons and first since 2016. Glastonbury also was able to avenge its only loss of the season, an early 3-0 setback to Southington. Glastonbury's team featured UConn signee Chloe Landers, who capped her career with a second state title.
21 (21) Ocean City Ocean City, NJ 24-1-1*
Season Complete. New Jersey Group 3 state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,225 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Hannah Keane started the scoring and sophomore Summer Reimet added two more as Ocean City stunned SIMA FAB 50-ranked Ramapo 3-0 to cap an amazing season. Ocean City led New Jersey with 114 goals while allowing only eight. Reimet scored 35 goals on the season and Rutgers commit Faith Slimmer added 35 goals and 27 assists.

Season Complete. Connecticut Class LL state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 2,000 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Southington's undefeated season ended with a 1-0 loss to perennial state power Glastonbury. Southington jumped into the national rankings with an early season 3-0 win over Glastonbury and rode that wave all the way to the state final.

Boyertown Boyertown, PA 24-2-0*
Season Complete. Pennsylvania Class 4A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,650 students, grades 10-12.
NOTES: Mikayla Moyer's free kick from the corner of the penalty area midway through the second overtime session found the far post upper corner to carry Boyertown to a 1-0 state title win over Conestoga. The win marked the first state title for coach Bill Goddard, who was completing his 20th year with the program. Boyertown was the District 1-4A runner-up, beating Conestoga in the semifinals and then falling to Pennridge in the final. All three advanced to the state tournament where District 1 showed its quality as all three reached the state semifinals. This time, in the state semifinals, Conestoga knocked out Pennridge while Boyertown defeated District 3-4A champ Hempfield, setting up an all-District 1 final.

Greenwood Bowling Green, KY 23-2-3*
Season Complete. Kentucky state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,250 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Alyson Kaelin poked in a rebound in the 72nd minute, lifting Greenwood to a 1-0 state final win over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Highlands. Kaelin seemed an unlikely hero for this high-scoring program led by Auburn commit Anna Haddock, who finished the year with 54 goals. Western Kentucky commit Ellie Belcher was a team captain and all-state pick. Kaelin's score was only her second of the season. Greenwood, meanwhile, scored 133 as a team. Greenwood had key victories over Indiana state runner-up Penn (Ind.), SIMA FAB 50-ranked Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) and SIMA FAB 50-ranked Castle (Ind.), and a draw with perennial state power Sacred Heart.

School Facts: Public, 3,100 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Hamilton Southeastern's season ended with a 3-1 loss to SIMA FAB 50 No. 3 Noblesville. Hamilton Southeastern's three losses were all to eventual state champions -- Noblesville and No. 24 Greenwood (Ky.). Hamilton Southeastern had two wins over regionally ranked Fishers and a victory over Indiana state runner-up Penn. Abby Jenkins, Layla Brown, Lydia Self, Bri Straus and Izzie Wallace were all-district first-team picks. Jenkins committed to Ball State. Self committed to Northern Kentucky. Both are juniors and are expected to return in 2020, along with high-scoring Wallace.
