FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi (independent schools) Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Providence commit Samantha Adams had a goal and one assist as St. Anthony's defeated Sacred Heart 2-0 last week in a clash of perennial New York Catholic League front runners. The result marked the first loss of the season for Sacred Heart.

The Crusaders reestablished its state dominance last week, routing Sherwood 9-0 and handling Central Catholic 6-0.

Anthony Wayne capped a two-win week with a 6-1 thrashing over former FAB 50-ranked Madison.

Maddie Eskin scored four goals during Houston's 5-0 win over Bartlett and served up assists on the first two goals of the team's 5-0 win over St. Agnes last week. Houston takes on FAB 50 No. 49 Briarcrest this week.

Glastonbury stayed perfect with a 2-1 win over Avon and a 6-0 victory over Northwest Catholic last week.

Brentwood defeated Independence 2-0 last week to remain perfect on the season. This week Brentwood faces state-ranked Father Ryan.

La Salle commit Caitlin Donovan scored eight goals and added two assists last week as Conestoga won four matches in a six-day stretch.

Kailyn Dudukovich and Maya Martir combined for six goals last week as Lakota West handled Colerain and Middletown.

Noblesville Noblesville, IN 10-0-3
Makenna Maloy scored a little more than a minute after Carmel took the lead, helping Noblesville to a 1-1 draw with Carmel in a clash of undefeated FAB 50-ranked teams. The Millers also defeated state-ranked Penn last week. Noblesville faces No. 19 Hamilton Southeastern this week.

Valparaiso commit Kelsie James scored to give Carmel a short-lived 1-0 lead in a showdown with Noblesville last week, which ended in a 1-1 draw. The Greyhounds also defeated Zionsville and Brebeuf Jesuit last week.

Xavier commit Olivia Lawson scored 16 goals last week as Christian Academy rolled up three lopsided wins.

Archbishop Spalding is in the driver's seat in the loaded IAAM as the last remaining undefeated team, and that list of results includes a win over No. 16 Mercy.

Cumberland Valley avenged the lone blemish on the team's record, beating Central Dauphin 3-0 last week. The teams tied early in the season. The Eagles next tangle with FAB 50-ranked McDonogh (Md.).

Payton Schenning scored the game-winner as Mercy stunned top-ranked McDonogh 1-0, handing the Eagles their first home loss since 2013.

McDonogh's bid for a third FAB 50 title were dealt a serious blow in a 1-0 setback to Mercy last week in a clash of FAB 50-ranked teams. McDonogh can start the climb back toward the top when it faces No. 15 Cumberland Valley (Pa.) this week.

Brunswick was handed its first setback of the season in a 5-3 loss to Strongsville.

Rachel Smith scored the game-winner as Medina held off Wadsworth 2-1 to cap a two-win week. The Bees' only loss this season is to No. 22 Brunswick, and Medina faces Strongsville on Oct. 9.

Lindset DeHaven scpred goals in both outings last week as Pennridge stayed perfect with wins over North Penn and Wissahickon. The results put Pennridge in position for a fourth straight conference title and 10th in the last 11 seasons.
