IMG Cup to feature 32 of world's best

IMG Academies, the world’s largest, and most prestigious multi-sport training institution, just got even bigger.
Brace yourself for a monumental event that will celebrate the continued growth of both the academies and the game of soccer.
Unveiling their brand new, state-of-the-art nine soccer field complex, IMG Academies is hosting the inaugural IMG Cup Boys Invitational from Dec. 10-12 in Bradenton, Florida.
An IMG player competing.This invitation-only event will bring together eight elite teams in four age groups of U15 to U18 for a total of 32 teams from all over the world.
This ground-breaking gathering is the culmination of a 10-year project for the IMG Academies which now boasts a total of 16 fields, placing their soccer program right among the standard of excellence for all of their sports.
A member of the U.S. Development Academy, IMG’s youth soccer program is among the best in the country as they hone the most highly skilled players around with an environment that is second to none.
The IMG Academy is a sports performance hub that is as vast as it is successful. Set over 400 pristine acres in Bradenton, Florida, IMG Academies features programs throughout the year for the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy, IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy, IMG Performance Institute, IMG Baseball, IMG Basketball, IMG Soccer, IMG Madden Football and IMG Lacrosse Academies.
For juniors, the mix of passionate student-athletes from around the world makes for an energetic training atmosphere, while adults can receive high-level instruction from an academy that’s associated with some of the biggest names in sports.
IMG Academies has trained athletes who have won 131 All Stars, 63 MVP Awards, 22 World Championships, 5 National Titles, 2 Heisman Trophies, 889 Tournaments, 107 Major Championships and 11 Olympic Medals.
