Prep High School Soccer Team Rankings

The Prep Top 10 is comprised of schools in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council and the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, as well as other independent prep schools. Schools in these rankings are not eligible for the FAB 50 high school rankings because these programs either field post-grad players or compete in a league with or against teams with post-grad and/or fifth-year athletes.

Season Complete. NEPSAC Class B champion. Jai-zel Smith-DeShields and Samir Fryatt scored the goals and Detre Bell recorded the shutout as South Kent topped Lawrence Academy 2-0 in the final. South Kent topped Canterbury School and Suffield Academy on the way to the final. South Kent has won NEPSAC titles seven of the past 10 years.
2 (2) Milton Academy Milton, MA 22-0-0*
Season Complete. NEPSAC Class A champion. Maryland commit Luca Leeve scored the first goal and Amos Shapiro-Thompson added an insurance tally in the final minute as Milton completed a perfect season with a 2-0 win over Northfield Mount Hermon in the final. Jerry Ozor assisted both goals. Milton defeated Belmont Hill and Phillips Andover to reach the final.

Northfield Mount Hermon Gill, MA 15-3-1*
Season Complete. NEPSAC Class A runner-up. After defeating No. 2 seed Berkshire 1-0 in the semifinals, Northfield Mount Hermon fell to top-seeded Milton 2-0 in the final.

Berkshire School Sheffield, MA 16-3-0*
Season Complete. NEPSAC Class A semifinalist. Berkshire's title run ended with a 1-0 semifinal loss to Northfield Mount Hermon. The Bears had won the last three NEPSAC A titles and had been the Prep Top 10 No. 1-ranked team the past three seasons, as well.
5 (5) Phillips Andover Andover, MA 12-4-2*
Season Complete. NEPSAC Class A semifinalist. After handling Hotchkiss 5-1 in the quarterfinals, Phillips Andover lost to top-seeded Milton 2-0 in the semifinals.
6 (6) Lawrence Academy Groton, MA 13-4-2*
Season Complete. NEPSAC Class B runner-up. Lawrence Academy's season ended with a 2-0 loss to top-ranked South Kent. Lawrence Academy defeated Pomfret School and Kimball Union en route to the final.
7 (7) Kiski School Saltsburg, PA 16-5-1*
Season Complete. Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association semifinalist. Kiski School conceded two early goals in a 2-1 setback to Malvern Prep in the PISAA semifnals. Kiski, loaded with underclassmen, Kiski defeated Shipley School in the quarterfinal round.

Peddie School Highstown, NJ 10-4-2*
Season Complete. Martin Ssessanga scored twice to spark Peddie to a 5-2 win over Blair Academy in a season-ending contest among top New Jersey prep programs. Peddie lost twice to South Kent School (Conn.) and one each to St. Benedict's and Pennington School.

Season Complete. New Jersey Prep A runner-up.
NOTES: Blair Academy fell to St. Benedict's 1-0 in the New Jersey Prep A final. After that, Blair lost to Peddie 5-2 in a season-ending match.

Hotchkiss School Lakeville, CT 10-5-4*
Season Complete. NEPSAC Class A quarterfinalist. Hotchkiss, the No. 5 seed, lost to No. 4 seed Phillips Andover in the NEPSAC A quarterfinals.
