Week in Consideration: September 11-September 17

D2 Men’s Player of the Week: Isak Haukefaer, Menlo

Haukefaer shined for the Oaks, scoring twice in a 4-3 win over Jessup, then netting a hat trick in a 5-3 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay.

D2 Men’s Team of the Week: Stanislaus State

The Warriors hit the road for two games and delivered a perfect week, combining for seven goals scored and zero allowed in victories over Simon Fraser and Saint Martin’s.


 

D3 Men’s Player of the Week: Tucker Sprano, Washington College(m)

Soprano earns NCAA DIII POTW honors for clutch performances against nationally ranked opponents, delivering a second-half hat trick to lead a 3-2 comeback defeat of No. 24 Mary Washington and providing an assist in a 2-2 tie with No. 18 Catholic.

D3 Men’s Team of the Week: Vassar College(m)

Vassar took full advantage of its senior day crowd, earning a 3-1 upset victory over No. 14 Oneonta. It marked the school’s first regular-season victory over a ranked team in six years.


 

NAIA Men’s Player of the Week: Mateo Rolon, Ave Maria

Rolon earns NAIA POTW honors as the key contributor to a high-scoring team, tallying four goals and four assists to help the team secure two wins and a draw over three games.

NAIA Men’s Team of the Week: Grand View

The Vikings seized their chance for a statement win by defeating a nationally ranked Baker team 4-0 on the road.
