The IMG Academy Top 150 Players continues spring updates this week with the focus on the boys class of 2020 - current freshman in high school. This class is full of promising talent at the upper echelon of the youth game. LA Galaxy Academy star Efrain Alvarez is the No. 1 player in the class and a five-star prospect. Alvarez is regarded as the best talent in the Galaxy season at this point, regardless of age group. The Academy staff has him playing against older competition with eyes on preparing him for the professional game in the near future. At the international level, Alvarez has most recently represented Mexico at the U15 age group, but he has been part of the U.S. Youth National Teams in the past.

Goalkeeper Damian Las is the one mover from the top 10 in this update. The Chicago-native moves up to No. 3 in the rankings. Las has been a standout at the club and recently had a really good trip with the national team in Europe. 

PDA defender Dominic De Almeida has been reclassified as a 2020 graduate and he slots in at No. 15 in the new update to the TopDrawerSoccer Top 150 players presented by IMG Academy. De Almeida is one of the best players at his position in this class.

FC Golden State forward Diego Lopez is the big climber among returning players on the list. Lopez, previously No. 80 in the rankings, checks in at No. 22 in the spring update for this class. Lopez’s play with the national team helped him climb into the top 25 for overall players in this group. He ranks No. 3 among the forwards for the 2020 class.
