The TeamRank Top 25 presented by Barca Academy, the comprehensive ranking system for elite club soccer teams nationwide, continues July updates this week with the U16, U17, and U18 girls club soccer teams. We will update our National Top 25 for each age group at least once per month.

Hawks Soar

The Michigan Hawks were awarded the ECNL Club of the Year plaque after winning the Champions League title in both the U18 and U17 age groups this season. The U18 title was less of a surprise of the two as Hawks were a dominant force throughout the season in this age group. The Michigan side finishes the 2016/2017 year as the No. 1 team in the Barca Academy TeamRank Top 25 for the U18 girls club soccer team ranking. 

San Diego Surf, Jacksonville Armada FC, Tophat SC, and St. Louis Scott Gallagher round out the top five in the U18 age group. Check out the full ranking of the top 25 teams.

Surprise, Surprise

Michigan Hawks went on a Cinderella run to the Champions League championship in the U17 age group. The Hawks earned the top spot in the Barca Academy TeamRank Top 25 for the girls U17 club soccer team ranking for the month of July. Crossfire Premier is the No. 2 team in the TeamRank Top 25. 

Slammers, Colorado Storm, and Mustang SC round out the top five in the Barca Academy TeamRank Top 25 for July. View the rest of the TeamRank rankings for the U17 age group. 

FC Dial it Up 

FC Dallas jumped up to the top spot in the Barca Academy TeamRank Top 25 for the U16 age group for the July update. FC Dallas defeated FC Stars of Massachusetts 2-1 in the ECNL Champions League title game last week. The Texas club ends the 2016-2017 season in the top spot. FC Stars sits n the No. 2 spot. 

Concorde Fire, Tophat SC, and So Cal Blues round out the top five in the U16 age group. Check out the full rankings.
