The Development Academy remains the pinnacle of the boys club soccer game in the United States. The league, which is run by the U.S. Soccer Federation, has enjoyed steady growth over the years as it has taken he lion share of the youth talent in the United States. 

While the ultimate goal of the league remains on player development and longterm results, the tangible success has been measured in playoff appearances.
