Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2007 are age-eligible for this U-16 MYNT cycle. The roster features 21 players born in 2007 and two born in 2008.

The 2007-birth year player pool most recently competed at the Torneo delle Nazioni this spring in Austria, Italy and Slovenia as the U-15 MYNT. Ten players return from the tournament roster, where the USA won its group and finished fourth overall in the 12-team field. This will be Heinneman’s third training camp with the age group since he was hired as U-15 head coach in Feb. 2022.

Sixteen clubs are represented on the roster, including 14 in Major League Soccer. Four players were selected from LAFC, while Barca Residency Academy midfielder Leonardo Orejarena and Sacramento Republic FC midfielder Blake Willey come from outside MLS academy set-ups.
