Athanasios Cosse, AZ, 5-11, F/W, Barca Academy-AZ -- Seeking a Division I opportunity but is open to Division II and Division III programs. Freshman year, he started 22 club games and 23 high school games, scoring 24 goals in club and 23 in high school, with a total of 47 for the season. In 2018/19, he scored 20 goals and had 14 assists in 36 games for Barca, contributing to 82 percent of the team's goals. Jeremiah is composed, skilled, intelligent and reliable as a No. 6. He can control the tempo of the game and has a unique ability to get out of tight scenarios. Mishael Garcia, CA, 5-6 , F, Penn State-Beaver/LA Hamilton (Calif.) -- Garcia is seeking an NCAA Division I, II or III program in California after spending time at Penn State-Beaver in Pennsylvania. He was the second-leading scorer in the PSUAC with 19 goals and five assists as a freshman. Now is looking to play closer to home. He outhustles anybody on the field and is the first man to defend on top. He always applies pressure to defenders causing many turnovers for the opposing team. He is clinical in front of goal and never backs away from a challenge. He can be used in any position with his qualities but is best used as a forward. He will be the first player to challenge any 50/50 tackle with pure strength. He continues to improve his game each year he plays. Roberto Garcia, CO, 5-6, M/F, Arrupe Jesuit (Colo.) -- Roberto is open-minded to the type of school and program. He has interest from Division II and NAIA schools but remains open to a new program. He was first-team all-state his senior year and second-team all-state his junior year at the 3A level in Colorado. Erik George, CA, 6-2, OB, Strikers FC U18/19 -- Looking for Division III or higher, somewhere along along the West Coast. He has been contacted by multiple schools since the playoffs of during his U16/17 year. His No. 1 is right now is the University of Redlands. Beyond that he is very open-minded to schools in the Western United States. He is very vocal and more than capable of directing teammates. Justice Mena, CA, 5-9/150, LB, Sporting San Diego – 2001 Huertero/Helix (Calif.) -- Seeking NAIA, Division III, Division II – open to any state and region. Justice Mena has been rock solid as a left back but he is a true utility player. He is a shut down defender but also was had a ton of assists with his overlapping runs as a left back. On set pieces he is either shutting down the opponents biggest threat or scoring goals for his team with his ability to win and time aerial challenges. Roy Mendoza, UT, 5-8, DM/CM/AM/F -- Aztexas and La Roca/Green Canyon (Utah) -- Seeking an NCAA Division I opportunity. He is a very dynamic player on and off the ball. His understanding for the game is very high. He plays for the team and enjoys playing a possessive game with a purpose of moving the opposition and creating openings to break the defensive lines. Kevin Meraz-Rodriguez, WA, 5-6/145, M, Columbia Basin College (NWAC)/Academy of Soccer Excellence/Pasco (Wash.) -- Meraz-Rodriguez is pursuing a transfer to an NCAA Division I, Division II or NAIA opportunity, preferably on the West Coast. He has some opportunities already, but is keeping an open mind. The center mid led Columbia Basin College to the NWAC semifinals in 2019 after a 10-1-1 regular season. Jacob Nichols, CA, 6-1, LCB/RCB, OC Surf 01 Armour/Vista Murrieta (Calif.) -- Looking to stay in California Division I or Division II and major in biochemistry. He has several offers from out-of-state schools, however prefers to stay in California. Academically, he has been accepted to UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, and UC Riverside but wants to continue to pursue options to continue his soccer career. He was a four-year starter and four-year captain for Vista Murrieta, which went 57-17-17. He won the 2019 Southwestern Conference Defensive MVP, 2019 All-CIF team, 2018 and 2019 all League, and received the VMHS Class award given to the player that best represents the school code (Character, Leadership, Attitude, Scholarship, Service). This year his club was the SCDSL Discovery League 01 Champions, currently in first in the California Regional League, and currently undefeated in National League. Before the coronavirus, his club was on pace to play in the Regional Championships in Boise in June and the National Championships in Kansas in July. Danny Nunez, CA, 5-9/130, M/W, Sporting San Diego – 2001 Huertero/Helix (Calif.) -- Seeking NAIA, Division III, Division II – open to any state and region. Danny has been an exceptional player with Sporting San Diego. He is a versatile player who can be used an outside back and thrives as a midfielder. He played as a winger this year in high school season and he was named CIF Player of the Year. His vision and ability to shape passes is quality and overall technical ability is very clean. Kyle Plumb, AZ, 5-8, CM, Arizona Arsenal ECNL/[Highland az-m] (Ariz.) -- Seeking a program that plays a high level of soccer and offers a good finance or accounting degree. Anywhere in the United States is fine, but the Southwest is first choice. He prefers Division I or Division II opportunities. Has local options but keeping an open mind. Led Class 6A in assists during the winter high school season. He made all-region first team his junior and senior years. Led his club team in assist last year as the team finished in second place, one point short of the ECNL national playoffs. He was captain of his high school team sophomore through senior years.
