Vassilev signs extension at Aston Villa
Another U.S. youth national team vet is extending his stay in Europe.
Aston Villa's Indiana Vassilev inked a two-year contract extension, staying at the English Premier League club for the next two seasons.
A regular with Aston Villa's Under-23 team for most of the 2019-20 season, Vassilev appeared for the Aston Villa first team in the Premier League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup. It was the latter competition where he made his debut back in January against Fulham.
