Dark horses, snubs, faves in men's tourney

In conference rooms and offices across the country, dozens of DI men’s soccer teams crowded around screens to sweat out another nervy Selection Monday.

And now, after a feverish round of handwringing, the stage is set. We have the bracket.

This year’s tourney didn’t feature a ton of major surprises at the top. Maryland snagged the No. 1 overall seed as everyone expected, ACC teams snapped up nearly half of the 16 seeded places and things mostly went as planned. But there was plenty to dissect elsewhere.

So let’s jump in and take a look around. As usual, this year should be a wide open race from the top to the bottom. From dark horses to the toughest road to the final to snubs, we’ve got it all right here.
