Published: September 22, 2018

DETROIT (2/22/2018) -- Senior Marina Manzo tied her season high with 11 saves as the University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team went on the road and picked up a crucial point in league play with a 0-0 draw at IUPUI on Saturday afternoon.

Manzo made five saves in the first half to keep the IUPUI (2-6-3, 0-1-1 HL) offense down and then made a pair of critical stops in each overtime to prevent the Jaguars from taking the contest.

With the 11 saves, she passed Prairie View's Quinn Josiah for the current leader in the nation with 78 total stops on the season.

Detroit Mercy (3-4-3, 0-1-1 HL) had 11 shots in the contest with two apiece by senior Carly Fiorido, sophomore Rachel Russo and freshman Julie Ann Piechocki.

The Titans will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 26, when they host #MetroSeries-rival Oakland at home with kick-off slated for 3 p.m.
