DI Council extends recruiting dead period

The recruiting dead period for Division I athletics was extended to August 31 for all sports. The Division I Councial announced the decision on Thursday, meaning that in-person recruiting for men's and women's DI soccer remains prohibited.

Phone calls and correspondence between coaches and prospective student athletes can continue in soccer for 2021 and 2022 graduates.
The dead periods will continue to be evaluated on a regular basis by the the full Council and the Council Coordination Committee.
