U.S. Under-15 Girl’s National Team head coach Vanessa Mann has selected a 20-player roster that will travel to the Netherlands from May 15-25 for a training camp and two matches.
The USA will play its counterparts from the Netherlands on May 20 at the Sportpark Vondersweijde in Oldenzaal before hopping over the border to face Germany on May 24 in Lingen, Germany.
All 20 players called up by Mann were born in 2011. This group of players would be the ones who would attempt to qualify for the 2028 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The U.S. U-15 GNT has played one international match so far this year, a 4-0 win over England at the end of April.
The players on this roster represent nine different states, with seven players from California and four from Texas. The players represent 16 different youth clubs with two players each selected from the Silicon Valley SA in Northern California, Solar SC in Texas, Tudela FC in Southern California and the Virginia Development Academy.
The camp and matches are a part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.
