The TDS Preseason 100 best players in men’s college soccer is out, and with it comes evidence of a new era of the sport marked by a wider variety of elite players and teams.

The ACC is the most represented conference on the list with 18 players, but following is a non-traditional power conference in the Sun Belt, providing ten players, tied with the Pac-12 for second. The Big East (9), Ivy League (7), and American Athletic (7) round out the remainder of the top five as 22 of the 23 men's soccer conferences make an appearance.
