Alex Harris, the number one ranked Freshman in the TDS Midseason 100, showed why this week with four goals in two games. First against Colgate, Harris scored twice in the opening ten minutes, leading to an eventual 3-1 victory. Then, the Washington native recorded another brace against Princeton in a 5-1 win, the first time the Tigers have conceded five or more in a game since 2004.

Team of the Week: October 9-October 15

GK Lukas Burns, Providence – The senior goalkeeper led Providence to a 1-0 upset of No. 4 Georgetown, making six saves along the way.

D Javier Soler Gandia, Bryant – Two clean sheets plus a game-winning goal against Northeastern and an assist against NJIT leads the Senior to the list.

D Femi Awodesu, Penn State – The Senior helped Penn State give No. 18 Northwestern its first loss of the season, scoring a goal in the 2-1 victory.

D Prince Amponsah, Wake Forest – Amponsah was sensational in a 1-0 victory over No. 12 North Carolina, days after leading another clean sheet against Wofford.

M Pablo Simon, Marshall – Simon scored twice and assisted another two in a 6-1 conference victory versus Coastal Carolina.

M Jake Karolczak, SIUE – The Missouri native scored twice and assisted another in victories versus Incarnate Word and Houston Christian.

M Julian Cisneros, Loyola-Chicago – Loyola-Chicago upset No. 21 Saint Louis, and Cisneros was a catalyst with a goal and assist.

M Niv Berkovitz, SMU – The Freshman stepped up with two goals and 70 minutes in a 3-0 defeat of Florida Atlantic.

F Alex Harris, Cornell – Four goals in two games is a great week for the Freshman sensation.

F Camil Azzam Ruiz, Iona University – Iona won both games and scored nine on the week, with Ruiz having a hand in five goals against Rider and Saint Peter’s.

F Michel Feldman, Queens (N.C.) – Feldman was on fire against Jacksonville, with a hat trick plus an assist in a 5-1 victory.
