The MLS SuperDraft is just over three months away, which means preparations are well under way for the franchises looking to build for the future.

First, a recap of last week’s highlighted players. SIUE goalkeeper John Berner only made one save in a pair of defeats for the Cougars against Louisville and UIC.

Fairleigh Dickinson defender Nicholas Walker played the full 90 minutes and registered a shot in a 3-1 loss to Iona last week. Walker and the Knights rebounded with a 2-1 overtime victory over St. John’s.

UC Santa Barbara midfielder Fifi Baiden played 73 minutes in the Gauchos 2-1 overtime defeat to Stanford last Friday. Baiden did not play against LMU on Sunday. He has been battling through a few minor injuries this season.

Akron forward Reinaldo Brenes scored the game-winning goal against West Virginia last Sunday for the Zips. He had a shot on goal in the 1-0 win over Ohio State last week that was saved.
