NWSL Draft college-by-college breakdown
Last week, 36 college players were selected in the NWSL Draft.
And while several of those players may not make their respective team once the preseason is all said and done, the college origin of picks reinforces one of college soccer’s stereotypes: that the ACC is the top women’s soccer conference.

Of the 36 picks, 14 of them came from an ACC program, and as the list below breaks down, three apiece came from three programs. Given recent success, it’s no surprise to see the teams sending players to the next level.
