FULLERTON, Calif. -- Ann Marie Tangorra, Nikki McCants and Adriana Gjonovich tallied first-half goals Friday night and Cal State Fullerton coasted to a 3-0 women's soccer victory over Army in the Under Armour Invitational Tournament.

The Titans (3-5) posted a season high in goals and did it in a span of about 21 minutes as they played their first match of the season that was not decided by a single goal.

Tangorra scored her team-leading fourth goal in the 23rd minute from about 10 yards out off a cross from Erica Mazeau, who extended her team lead with her fifth assist of the season. Last year's team leader had only 6 assists.

McCants and Gjonovich broke the match open with goals in the final 8 minutes of the half.  McCants converted a rebound of a Christina Burkenroad shot off goalkeeper Linda Rosas for her first goal of the season. Gjonovich scored from close range off a cross from Colleen Ortega.

CSF goalkeeper Lindsey Maricic needed only 3 saves to post the shutout.

The closest Army came to scoring was Katie Holder's shot off the cross bar with about 20 minutes to play.

The Titans took only two shots in the second half after outshooting the Black Knights, 13-4, in the first half.

The tourney concludes Sunday with Army vs. Long Beach State at 11 a.m. followed by Texas Tech vs. Fullerton.
