Rice Owls Season Opener At SMU Cancelled

The Rice soccer team's 2016 season opener Friday at SMU was cancelled due to weather. The match will not be made up.
The Owls are next scheduled to play at No. 8 ranked Texas A&M on Sunday, August 21. Start time at Ellis Field in College Station is set for 6 pm. The match will be broadcast live around the world on ESPN3.
