Syracuse Forward Signs in Premier League
Syracuse forward Nathan Opoku, a key part in the program's national championship last fall, has signed with English Premier League side Leicester City FC.
Opoku was immediately loaned out to Jupiler Pro League (Belgium first division) side OH Leuven for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

Opoku, originally from Ghana, began his college career at NAIA program Lindsey Wilson College in 2021. After an All-American campaign, he transferred to Syracuse, where he played in the 2022 season. He scored 11 goals and added eight assists in his lone season with the ACC program. In his final game, the national championship win over Indiana on penalty kicks, he scored a goal and added an assist.
