August 30, 2021
Runners up in the spring season, Florida State is back as the No. 1 team in this week's update to the Women's DI Top 25 rankings.
The Seminoles continued to surge at the start of the season, picking up their most impressive win of the season on Sunday. Second half goals from Kirsten Pavlisko and Gabby Carle secured a 2-1 win at Colorado, as FSU has now won four straight.
It's an all-ACC affair in the top three, with Virginia and North Carolina right behind the Tar Heels. With a pair of draws on the season, Santa Clara moves to No. 4, with UCLA rounding out the top five.
Michigan and Arizona State joined the Top 25 in this week's update.
