Women's DI Top 100 rankings updated
The women's DI postseason Top 100 player rankings are out, and there are no surprises to see who tops each list.
Raquel Rodriguez, named the TDS Player of the Year on Wednesday, earns top spot in the upperclassmen list after leading Penn State to its title triumph. Florida State midfield star Meghan Connolly tops the list of first-year stars ahead of a talented pack.
Rodriguez is followed in the rankings by star center backs Kadeisha Buchanan (West Virginia) and Emily Sonnett (Virginia), with Rose Lavelle (Wisconsin) and Savannah Jordan (Florida) rounding out the top five.
The top six in the Freshman list features some bright talent. Aside from Connolly, Betsy Brandon (Virginia), Kaleigh Riehl (Penn State), Alana Cook (Stanford), Taylor Racioppi (Duke) and Cecelia Kizer (Mississippi) all made major contributions to their respective programs during the 2015 campaign.
