Women’s Soccer Drops Match 0-1 to #18 SEU
AUSTIN, Texas: Regis women's soccer dropped Sunday's match 0-1 to nationally ranked #18 St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. This loss puts the Rangers at 2-2 on the season.
The Hilltoppers scored early in the 13 minute, before both teams would remain scoreless through the end of the match.
Ranger junior CC Rinehart had a chance at the goal in the second half. She hit the post in the 63rd minute with the last shot Regis would be allowed by the Hilltopper defense for the rest of the match.
Regis put up six shot attempts, three of which were on goal.
The Rangers will head across town on Friday, September 14th for their next match against Metro State at 1:00 PM. Regis will return home on Sunday, September 16th for a matchup against CSU-Pueblo at 1:00 PM.
