Former Rutgers coach takes HS position
March 25, 2019
Former Rutgers(m) men's coach Dan Donigan was introduced Monday as new head coach at [Notre Dame nj-m] (Lawrenceville, N.J.).
Adding a former Big 10 coach to the ranks of the conference is certainly a boost to an already strong conference.
Notre Dame went 13-6 last season under Rich Leedom.
The Trention broke the story Monday afternoon, quoting the athletic director as saying, "It's a coup, no doubt about it," Roche said. “He is legendary in this area. This is a great day for Notre Dame and Notre Dame soccer."
Donigan went 110-40-30 in 10 season as SLU's head coach, but struggled to find similar success, going 55-95-16 in nine seasons at Rutgers.
