BJ Bantolina and Sean Yoshida scored the goals as Kapolei (Hawaii) captured the 8th Annual 808 Prep Soccer Showcase, which wrapped up Saturday Dec. 2, with a 2-0 win over Baldwin.

The eight-team, season kickoff event featured most of the top-ranked boys teams in Hawaii.

The marquee match was Kapolei edged Punahou (Hawaii) in penalty kicks following a 1-1 regulation. The teams started the season rankd 1-2 in the state.

Kapolei's title gave the squad a spot in this week's FAB 50 rankings.
