HS: Spring FAB 50 rankings, May 15
Mission complete.
For both the Wando (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) and Tulsa Union (Tulsa, Okla.) boys soccer teams.
Saturday afternoon, FAB 50 No. 2 Union finished a perfect season with a 4-0 victory in the Oklahoma 6A state final. Just a few hours later, No. 1-ranked Wando secured its own perfect season with a 2-1 win in the South Carolina 5-A state final. The results locked down the spring No. 1 and No. 2 rankings on the boys side for 2018. Add to it that No. 4 Westminster Schools (Atlanta, Ga.) also capped an undefeated state title-winning season and 3/5s of the Top 5 are settled by mid-May.
On the girls side, Notre Dame de Sion (Mo.) and St. Charles North (Ill.) remain No. 1 and 2, respectively, as both move on to postseason play this week.
