Prep High School Soccer Team Rankings

The Prep Top 10 is comprised of schools in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council and the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, as well as other independent prep schools. Schools in these rankings are not eligible for the FAB 50 high school rankings because these programs either field post-grad players or compete in a league with or against teams with post-grad and/or fifth-year athletes.

Endy Butigian scored twice and John Poncy added a goal as South Kent School defeated former Top 10-ranked Mercersburg Academy 3-0 last week. Today, South Kent and Berkshire clash in what could be the match that decides this year's Prep Top 10 national champion.
2 (2) Berkshire School Sheffield, MA 13-0-1
Berkshire edged Kimball Union 1-0 and defeated Kiski Prep 4-1 to secure an undefeated record heading into its annual showdown with South Kent School.
3 (3) Taft School Watertown, CT 13-1-0
Marvin Sibanda, Sammed Bawa and Gabe Eliasson scored the goals as Taft defeated Salisbury School 3-0 last week. Taft also handled Kent School 6-1.
4 (4) Choate Rosemary Hall Wallingford, CT 10-0-4
Choate shut out Kingswood-Oxford (2-0) and Northfield Mount Hermon (1-0) last week to stay undefeated.This weekend Choate clashes with Top 10-ranked Avon Old Farms.
5 (5) Loomis Chaffee Windsor, CT 13-2-0
Michael Suski scored five goals last week to take his season total to 33 as Loomis recorded three-goal wins over Westminster School and Hotchkiss.
6 (6) Worcester Academy Worcester, MA 12-1-3
Worcester Academy defeated Deerfield Academy 4-2 before playing to a 1-1 draw with Kimball Union last week.
7 (7) Brooks School North Andover, MA 9-0-4
Jacob Iwowo scored the winner in a 1-0 decision over Lawrence Academy and added a goal in the team's 2-0 win over Governor's last week. Marcelo Lage converted a PK for Brooks' first goal. The win over Governor's secured the Eusden Navin Bowl for Brooks, which has shut out Governor's the past 11 years.
8 (8) Avon Old Farms Avon, CT 11-1-0
Avon Old Farms ripped Kent School 5-0 and defeated Kingswood-Oxford 5-3 last week. A match with Loomis this week will be key for Avon Old Farms' ranking next week. A victory could launch this team into the Top 5.
9 (9) Northfield Mount Hermon Gill, MA 6-4-3
Northfield Mount Hermon tied Phillips Andover last week before falling 1-0 to No. 4 Choate.
10 (10) Kimball Union Academy Meriden, NH 9-2-1
Despite not getting a win last week, Kimball showed well, falling to undefeated, No. 2-ranked Berkshire School 1-0 and tying No. 6 Worcester Academy 1-1. Khenrab Norgay scored the late goal for Kimball Union to secure the tie.
