Prep High School Soccer Team Rankings

The Prep Top 10 is comprised of schools in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council and the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, as well as other independent prep schools. Schools in these rankings are not eligible for the FAB 50 high school rankings because these programs either field post-grad players or compete in a league with or against teams with post-grad and/or fifth-year athletes.

The defending Prep Top 10 national champions are a clear No. 1 early in the season. The team has rolled off six wins, with key victories over Hill School (Pa.), Haverford School (Pa.) and a strong Parkland (Pa.) team while South Kent start its PGs to face the traditional high school.

Berkshire rallied for a 1-1 draw against Milton Academy at the New England Prep Showcase last week.

Hill School has a demanding schedule and its losses are to undefeated teams -- South Kent School (Conn.) and Episcopal Academy. The team's marquee win is over Seton Hall Prep (N.J.).
10 Mercersburg Academy Mercersburg, PA 6-1-0
Mercersburg's lone loss is to defending league champ Pennington School (N.J.), which is in the SIMA FAB 50.
